About Swinton

A place so sweet it feels made up.

A town with heart where neighbors are family

and family is nosy.

Our Story

Swinton was founded during one of Oklahoma's Land Runs by Boston Native Jeremiah P. Swinton. Along with several of his closest friends, Swinton was built to be a little slice of Boston in the sweeping plains of Oklahoma Territory.

By the middle of the twentieth century, The Silver Cow Dairy called Swinton home, our new, state of the art Main Street was constructed and new traditions were born including The Silver Belle Festival, Haunt Main Street, our Hot Cocoa Crawl, and our annual Fourth of July barbecue competition attracting world class cooks from around the globe!
